Act II

As our theatres finally begin to reopen, now seems a good time to reflect back on my Final Major Project in 2018 with the UAL at the West Suffolk College

Act II  documented the unique world of amateur dramatics where I was very privileged to be able to follow the cast of the Bury Operatic and Dramatic Society, from their first read throughs, auditions, dressing room preparations … right through to their final bow on the stage of the stunning Georgian  Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds.

This body of work is an insight not only into the world of amateur dramatics, but also into the world of our beautiful theatres and the amazing people who work in them.

It’s so good to see our theatres open again … we have missed you.
